LAKEWOOD, Wash. – For the first time in over three decades, Seattle Prep football is headed to the state quarterfinals, following an impressive 34-14 victory over Lakes on Friday night at Harry Lang Stadium.
Quarterback Beau Oaksmith put on a show directing the Panthers’ up-tempo offense. Oaksmith accounted for all five of Seattle Prep’s touchdowns, throwing for four and rushing for one.
In the second half, Ollie Sevilla picked off a pass to help Seattle Prep’s defense deliver a knockout punch.
The Panthers (7-3) advance to play Roosevelt (7-3) at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 at Memorial Stadium. The Lancers finished a strong season 9-2, after advancing to the state playoffs for the first time since 2022.
